LAUREN AUDER YES

Sharing her first original material in 2 years, left-field pop provocateur Lauren Auder delves into 90s rave culture on 'yes'. Adopting an open-minded approach, 'yes' is a much-needed injection of energy, exploring elements of dance music through organic instrumentation and highly accomplished vocal melodies. She explains: “yes feels like breaking new ground for me, pushing further than I ever have into pop and dance music, as I play around with house influenced pianos, Madchester-esque grooves and a tightly packed lyric delivery. The track's movement expresses the rush of adrenaline, the feeling of time speeding up, the constantly tumbling sensation that comes with falling in love.” Imparting an important message about pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, 'yes' is out now via Untitled (Recs) and we're hoping its the first of many new works from this abundantly talented artist. -Holly Mullineaux
